AHEK2

If you Google search images ‘CHINESE POLICE HANDCUFFS’ you will find pictures of the ANHUA Handcuffs HC-01W and HC-19W.
These handcuffs have a rotating wheel that prevents shimming and they also require a unique handcuff key making them hard to bypass without the key.

The story goes that the USA supplied some old WW1 surplus Harrington and Richardson Model 123 handcuffs to the Chiang Kai Chek regime in their struggle with Mao Tse-Tung and when they ran out the Chinese copied them and the rest is history…

The AHEK2 works just like the original key to operate the HC-01W and HC-19W handcuffs when single or double-locked. Just insert into key-way and turn clockwise.

The keys are double-ended matte black stainless steel (A1), so they will last a life-time!

The AHEK is replicating the function of one of the largest handcuffs keys that features a big handle to assist with turning under spring tension.

Follow these steps to effectively use the AHEK2:

  • Insert the AHEK2 into the key-way tube
  • Slowly rotate the AHEK2 to carefully locate the triangle stud
  • Push the AHEK2 firmly down to ensure it remains seated over the tringle stud
  • Hold firmly between your thumb and index finger
  • Turn the AHEK2 clockwise and push in the ratchet arm (use your leg/body)
  • This additional step will cause the handcuffs to release
