The FENDCUFF® COMMS STRAP contains a small antenna and chip (NXP NTAG213) that can be read by any NFC reader including many smart phones.
The integrated cable-tie allows for quick and easy attachment to a FENDCUFF® Rigid Connector.
The rugged design provides protection for hard use to tolerate impacts, cleaning agents and moisture. It is IP68 rated, so it is completely impermeable to water and dust.
An application such as NFC Tools Pro and NFC Tasks can be used to write information to the Comms Strap without an internet connection.
